About Us

A Code Purple Shelter is not a traditional shelter, it gives emergency shelter to aid the homeless on the cold winter nights.

Code Purple is open from December 1st through March 15th and we are open regardless of temperatures.

If you have Code Purple volunteer questions or donation questions, please call 302-956-6006 (ext 302) and leave a message for us. We will return your call as quickly as possible.

Mission: Our mission is to offer shelter to those with no home by utilizing the local churches, their sanctuaries, time, talent, and support to save lives during cold weather in Sussex County and to offer hope for a future to our struggling neighbors.
